The first
Indonesian youth congress was held in Batavia, capital of
the then-Dutch East Indies
in 1926, but produced no formal decisions but did promote the idea of a
united Indonesia.
In October
1928, the second Indonesian youth congress was held at three different
locations. In the first session, the hope was expressed that the congress
would inspire the feeling of unity. The second session saw discussions about
educational issues. In the third and final session, held at Jalan Kramat Raya
No, 126, on October 28 participants heard the future Indonesian national
anthem Indonesia Raya
by Wage Rudolf Supratman.
The congress
closed with a reading of the youth pledge.

Pemuda Indonesia pertama yang diadakan di Batavia, ibukota Hindia-Belanda
pada tahun 1926. Kongres ini tidak menghasilkan keputusan resmi tetapi hanya mempromosikan
ide negara kesatuan Republik Indonesia.
Dua tahun kemudian tepatnya pada bulan Oktober 1928, diadakanlah kongres pemuda Indonesia keduayang dilaksanakan di tiga lokasi yang berbeda. Pada sesi pertama, terungkaplah harapan bahwa kongres itu sebaiknya menginspirasi rasa persatuan. additional techniques:
a. Transposition technique is in the “The
first Indonesian youth congress was held in Batavia” is translated into
“Kongres Pemuda Indonesia pertama yang diadakan di Btavia”. Here we notice
that there is a little bit different in grammatical system in which it is
using noun clause “yang”.
b. Addition technique is in the words “united Indonesia” which is
translated into “kesatuan republik Indonesia”. There is additional word
“republik”

also transposition techniques
a. Addition technique is seen in the part of sentence “in the third….” is
translated into “sedangkan….” . Here we add the word “sedangkan”
b. by Wage Rudolf Supratman” is transalated by adding the word “yang
diciptakan”
c. While the transposition technique is found in the words “participants”
which is translated into “semua peserta”. It is called as adjective repeating
or “ subjek berpronomina jamak dalam bahasa Indonesia”

in our translation is “bahasa persatuan, bahasa Indonesia”, so, here it adds
word “bahasa” in the second phrase.
